LA-based contemporary artist daniaelle simonsen primarily uses fabric and thread to create multidimensional images that (i think) are truly mystical and engaging!
i love how she embraces layers and negative space. i am also captivated by the way she takes traditionally "female" crafts (sewing/embroidering/needlecraft) and manipulates them into being her tools for creating sophisticated works of art.
