1. a visit to west philly - institute of contemporary art/ICA...
2. yummy cinnamon buns from sweet freedom bakery...i never developed much of a sweet tooth because i am allergic to basically all delicious baked treats. but, it just so happens that i am currently reading a book called "don't kill the birthday girl: tales from an allergic life" (which i LOVE and will talk about in a later post) that has inspired me to take advantage of allergy-friendly changes in the culinary world to eat the type of food i would never normally get near my face, but have always craved: cinnamon buns. (why do i want to giggle every time i write the phrase "cinnamon buns"?)
luckily, i have access to a newish bakery called sweet freedom, which caters to people like me: the allergic consumer. their bakery products are vegan (dairy-free, casein-free, egg-free) and gluten free...they also avoid the use of corn, peanuts and soy as well. so after my intense saturday morning workout, i am going to bike on down to sweet freedom and indulge in a delicious cinnamon bun or if those are unavailable, then i could get a cupcake or a cookie or a doughnut or whatever the heck i wanted!
3. a bike ride to sazz vintage clothing warehouse...i am intrigued by shopping for vintage clothes warehouse style...i am not sure what to expect really. i suspect that i am going to have to invest some time digging, but (fingers crossed) hopefully i will find a winter dress coat that covers my rear!
i will also be distracted by a rock concert on saturday night and planning for a couple upcoming trips...new york and massachusetts...bring on the busy! are you up to anything fun?
